A chamber filter press is developed for the dewatering of sludge. It is composed of a certain number of plates on which a filter cloth is attached on both sides.
The fast circular movement of a centrifuge ensures that sludge particles get separated according to their weight. The heavier components will be pushed to the outside, while the lighter components migrate inwards.
